Our world has become seriously dependent on electricity to make it work. Everything that we do, from heating our homes to running our machines, energy is essential. Back before we had electric power, the light we got originated from fire burning lamps and our heat came from a wood furnace. It was a pleasant change to have power lines linking cities, towns and residential areas with electricity.
When electrical power first showed up and the tools that ran on them, many people could hardly believe in the practicality. Solar power may be saved in various natural sources, like in water or dirt and in man made sources like concrete. Your home can still be heated using thermal mass when the sun goes down. These are excellent short-term alternatives, but so far there are no long-term storage capabilities for solar power. Using devices that belong to the thermo-chemical phase is yet another means to save heat. Some these storage types include paraffin wax and Eutectic Salts.
When you put paraffin wax inside a storage tank, the wax stays a solid while it is cold, but as soon as it is heated, it becomes a liquid which will keep its heat for some time. Even when it cools down and turns hard, the wax still has the ability to keep heat. A relatively inexpensive way to store heat is by using Eutectic Salts, which can consistently propagate the heat, staying hotter for a longer time. Molten Salts is another effective way to store solar powered energy which is done by producing steam. The process starts when molten salts are heated in the storage reservoir. Rechargeable batteries may be used to hold the energy and provide power to the power source. The most popular type of battery utilized for this kind of storage is a lead acid battery.

There are quite a few ways to store natural energy, but so far they aren’t as practical or efficient as they need to be. As soon as we find an efficient way to save energy, we will be able to have a limitless supply of heat.
